Dior Octobuddy

An octobuddy (sticky gel pad/phone grip) works best on smooth and flat surfaces. The type of phone cover you use makes a big difference:

✅ Best surfaces (strong grip)

* Hard plastic covers (polycarbonate) – smooth and rigid, ideal for strong suction
* Glass-backed covers – very strong hold
* Metal covers (smooth finish) – also grips well

⚠️ Works okay (but not perfect)

* Silicone/rubber covers – can stick, but may lose grip over time because they’re slightly flexible and attract dust

❌ Poor surfaces (won’t stick well)

* Matte or textured covers – the tiny grooves break the suction
* Fabric or leather covers – too porous
* Soft gel covers with a greasy feel – reduces adhesion

If you want the strongest, long-term hold, go for a hard plastic or glass-finish cover 👍
